Talked to Kyushu, anything is on your mind? Ramen? Hot spring?? Volcano?  We have introduced some dancing ceremonies of Shikoku before.  And let’s move on to the Kyushu for exploring more summer activities!

1.  Huis Ten Bosch

It is one of the most famous Kyushu’s attraction because of the classical Dutch buildings and traditional summer fireworks.  Every year, it was held the “Natsu Ichiban” Hanabi Festival for competing the local fireworks designed by the famous designer with different nations.  Under the romantic high sky, the gorgeous firework is accompanied with the wonderful music melody would be a great place for lovers to share this beautiful and romantic moment~

Except for the well-known firework, the appealing flowers is another attraction since it is the hydrangea’s season.  Walking slowly in the Eurpoean street and enjoying the colorful grounded hydrangea, our mood and walking pace will become more brisk~

To walk across the ancient arched bridge, watching these lovely charming hydrangeas is such a fun!

More than 800 kinds of hydrangea are planted in the Huis Ten Bosch, with the purple green, purple yellow and blue yellow……they are competing for becoming the No.1 beauty.  That’s the reason why a lot of travelers to come here for checking in the facebook!

Until to the night, lights are turned on to bring another mysterious beauty to the hydrangeas of the both sides~

2.  Tobata Gion Oyamagasa

Why are there so many tall lantern towers?  In fact, they are the Tobata Gion of the Oyamagasa, which is held as three largest traditional festival in Kyushu.  Long long time ago, the 須賀 God helped the local residents drive away the epidemic.  For commemorating his merit, the locals build 12-levels of the lanterns for the thanksgiving~

You can’t admire the power of Kyushu people to build the 12-levels of the lanterns hands by hands~

The built Tobata Gion are lifted by the locals.  No matter how large the Tobata Gion is, the locals do not afraid of its weight, even for the secondary students to be one of the participators. 

3.  Wind bell ceremony of Saga

When mentioned to the Japanese traditional famous potteries, Saga is the place cannot be ignored.  We will travel to the 伊万里秘窯の里大川内山 to watch the beautiful wind bells.  Many Japanese hold the wind bells to resist the evil in Summer as their habits.  Walking along with the natural quiet forest, you will discover various of the wind bellows are holding.  Wind blows and rings the wind bells, help us tidy our emotion and bring the cool feelings~ Besides, there will be chorus singing, musical instruments and lighting ceremonies, you are suggested to get there~

Tiny wind bells are drawn by the landscape paintings, enchanting flowers and even for the fruits, you can understand how exquisite the Saga’s potteries culture is~
