How to cook with eggplants better?

Do you love eating eggplant?  There are lots of advantageous for having them.  With rich potassium, our blood pressure can be balanced well for maintaining the healthy of our heart.  In addition, it is also good for the on-diet lovers.  Large numbers of the dietary fibers can speed up our intestine movement, which is bad for the accumulation of fats and lower the opportunities of high blood fats, high blood pressures and high blood sugar, helping us achieve the goal of losing weight.

 

 

 

Besides, its phosphorus and saponin can also reduce our cholesterol and reappear our beautiful body shape.

Tips for cooking the eggplants: 

 

1.  Use the steaming or boiling way

 

a.  The steamed way

 

 

The steaming way is not only for keeping the moisture of the vegetables, it is also kept with adequate nutrients without the high heating.  Only you need to do is to put them on the plate and steam them.  Then you can add some mashed garlic, green onions, and soy sauce for seasoning them.

 

**Tips: It is recommended to turn the skin of them up toward the sky for decreasing the oxidation and making them turn dark.

 

 

 

 

b.  The boiling way

 

 

Another way would be the boiling one.  Apply the hot water to boil the eggplants for about 3-6 minutes.  Then we can put them to the cold water for preventing them to turn back due to the high temperature, which can result in the black eggplants.  The final step is to season them with the mashed garlic, sesame oil and soy sauce.  This is a good cooling delicious dish for having it in summer.

 

 

**Tips:  Don’t throw away the skin of the eggplants as there are lots of the Vitamin P to lower the chance of suffering from the cataract.  More than that, the best cooking time would be around 6 minutes for cooking them thoroughly but not too soft for losing its nutrition. 

 

 

 

 

 

2.  Not suggested to use the deep-fried way

 

 

 

The nutrition loses from the eggplants is owing to the high-temperature, which can also neutralize the great effects of them.  For example, we can eat more eggplants for decreasing the cholesterol to keep-fit.  But if they are cooked with plenty of the oil, the nutrition will be decreased since they are cooked by lots of oil.  That’s the reason why it cannot help you lose the pounds at the same time.

 

 

 

 

 

3.  The salted way

 

 

 

The reason for cooking the “Dark Eggplants” is because the enzyme of it will be oxidized and then turn black.  In fact, you can use some salts for pickle the eggplants.  Or using some salt water to soak with the cut eggplants for getting rid of the air and oxidation.  Try it~
