Maybe you are a fan of coffee or tea.  Do you feel anger for washing the cups difficultly?  Sometimes, you may use the hot water and cannot take the dirt away entirely.  Or there is even the strange smell left on your cups.  Here are some methods for you, see if they are helpful?

A. Removing the odor

First method:  The acid warm water

If you feel the odor from your cup, try to add some whit vinegar or lemon with the water for soaking about 30 minutes.  Then use the warm water to wash away the acid taste.  This way is not harmful to our health by the food although you cannot completely wash clearly.

Second method:  washing rice water

Except for the lemon or white vinegar, you can use the washing rice water to instead of, try it!

B. Washing the contamination

1. The surface dirt

Whether you are using with the glass cup or the travel steel mug, you can use the long soft brush with the detergent to wash away with the surface dirt slightly. 

2. Problematic dirt

First method:  baking soda powder with warm water

The baking soda powder is a common useful detergent.  You can put some of it in your cup and add with some warm water.  After 15-20 minutes soaking, you can solve the problem easily.

Second method:  Hitting between ices

First putting some ices in your cup, about 1/4 of your cup, and then you can close up with the lid and then shake with it by up and down direction to take away the dirt by the principle of hitting.

Tip:  This method is not suitable for the stainless-steel mud as the hitting might cause to the damage of the inner layer of your cup.

3. Aged dirt

Baking soda powder with hot water

This is the time for using the baking soda powder to clear the aged dirt.  With little baking soda powder on your cups, we can pour some hot water in it.  Then you will discover some foams will appear.  Reminding not to close the lid.  After about 1-2 hours, you can only wash with the warm water for twice or three times.

Tips:  It is recommended to wash your cups every day.  In addition, for the stainless-steel bug, you are not suggested to use the hot water to wash it.  Otherwise, it will be deformed and peeled easily.
