How to have a healthier hot pot?

Having the hotpot provides you a chance to cook food by yourself and share the precious moment with your friends and family.  Besides, as it is quite almost to the winter, lots of friends like having the hotpot, sabu sabu.  However, some friends think it is not too healthy as they might eat too much for increasing their weights.  Here are some tips for you to have a healthy hotpot~

 

 

 

 

 

 

TIPS 1:  Choose the proper soup

 

 

 

Nowadays, there are plenty of soup for you to choose, for instance, tomato, pork backbones, chicken stock, lobster, fish, seaweed or milk ….as those of them are made of various ingredients, the calories will be variable.  Since we will eat meat while we are having the hotpot, it is not recommended to use the meat soup to cook.  You can try with the silky and creamy soy milk soup, sweet seaweed soup or the sour sweet tomato to instead of the meat one because these soups’ calories are not more than 300.

 

 

 

 

 

 

TIPS 2:  The orders of dining

 

 

For the friends who love eating the meat, try to bear with this temptation.  Let’s eat with the vegetables first.   The fibers of the vegetable can decrease our body to absorb more fats or oil than we need to maintain our calories in a stable level.  After we have eaten enough vegetables, we can eat the main character, meat.  The last thing would be end up with the starchy food.

 

**Tips:  Not recommend eating too much red meat, instead by the white one or fish.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

TIPS 3:  Food chosen

 

 

The growing up children or gentlemen would prefer eating with meats mainly.  Yet, it would be better for the fresh ingredients, not for the processed food, such as, the sausages, hams, meatballs and so on.  They are produced with lots of seasonings and with less nutrition by the time passes.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

TIPS 4:  Less seasoning sauce

 

 

 

For matching with diversified soup and food, the sabu sabu lovers would like to use different kinds of sauces to increase the deliciousness of the food, for example, the sha cha sauce, fermented bean curd, sesame sauce……as they are contained with plenty of sugar, oil even for salts, our calories will be higher if we have the meat hotpot at the same time. Therefore, it’s better to apply less than our normal amount.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

TIPS 5:  Time for eating

 

 

 

We might have the experience for having the hotpot at night or in the midnight with our friends.  In fact, the best having hour would be in the afternoon.  The metabolism will reach to the highest when we wake up in the morning.  As the time passes, it will go down.  If we decide to have the hotpot too late, our fats will be collected easily by the weakening metabolism system.  That’s the reason why our weights will be enhanced so fast.  Be cautious about the eating hours~

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

TIPS 6:  The amounts of consuming food

 

 

While we are having the hotpot, our calories will rise in a short period of time, which might be over than the average amounts of calories for each person in one day.  Therefore, we should regulate other 2 meals to balance the calories of having the hotpot.  More than this, it is recommended to have 70% full as the standard because there should be enough space for the stomach and intestine to digest well.
