Lived in this high-speed urban city, everybody has the same problem, insomnia, which may affect the development of mental and health if it continues for a long period of time. Here are the methods:
1. Eating
Known by everyone, one hot milk could help us to sleep well. Any other ideas? Some may think eating chocolate is unhealthy, but not the dark one since it contains with 5-hydroxy-tryptophan. It can relax our emotions with low calories. It suits to anyone who are on the diet.
Do you feel empty since we have supper too early? One spoon of honey can cure you to sleep well, control the feeling to eat food. No need to worry about the calories of eating snacks.
Sugar hater may try this flower tea, Chrysanthemum Tea, which relaxes our tension emotion and lead us to sleep well.
2. Exercising
Some researchers found out exercising before sleep is easier than the non-exercising one. You may follow with:
a) When you sit on the floor, put your left-hand massage to left foot and same to the right one.
b) Lay down from the bed and deep-breathe for 5 seconds and exhale slowly. Repeat it for 5 times.
c) Go for a walk for an hour
Exercising can strengthen the functions of heart and lung. Also, it helps us to relax and fall asleep quickly.
3. Do the relaxing activities
The reasons of cannot sleep well owing to the nervous, pressure or worrying about the family or studies for most of us. But if we do anything we want before we go to sleep, there will be different. For example, we might be delighted if we listen to the music, do the yoga, slow run or even bath the legs and so on. Remember not to use the electronic devices since they might harm to our eyes. Besides, if we still run our brain, how can we have a good sleep?
4. Hug with a stuffed toy or pillow
It may be a shame for hugging a stuffed toy when you grow up. Some researches points to hug a toy to sleep can engage the sense of security to sleep well. But the recommended sleeping posts would be the sleeping on one’s side or sleeping on one’s stomach, which are less effect on the waist and the functions of heart and liver. Placing the plants beside sleeping is an effective way to keep clam on the nervous emotion, for instance, Jasmine, Lavendar and so on. More plants, more fresh air, which makes people feel happy and have a nice dream~
5. Drinking the flower tea
Many friends say that drinking plenty of flower tea can refresh one’s mind as there is caffeine. Drinking flower tea can decrease melancholy and improve the quality of sleeping, discovered by the scientific researches, especially for the Chamomile tea.
